SCREENING OF POST-UTME CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION INTO IMO STATE UNIVERSITY, OWERRI FOR THE 2014/2015 SESSION.

All Candidates who have chosen Imo State University for the 2014/2015 Post UTME Screening exercise are by this announcement informed that the exercise for the Pencil Paper Test (PPT) is scheduled to take place from Wednesday 13th August – Friday 15th August, 2014 while the Computer Based Test (CBT) takes place from Monday 18th August – Tuesday 19th August, 2014.

IMSU POST UTME ELIGIBILITY:

Candidates that scored 180 and above in PPT and CBT in the JAMB UTME.

IMSU POST UTME PAYMENT PROCEDURE

Obtain your scratch card (N4,000) at any point of sale (as specified below). Payment covers registration, screening, result checking and portal charges.

THE PAPER SCRATCH CARD OPTION

Purchase scratch card from Point of Sale stated below and follow the instructions on the card.

IMUS POST UTME REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

POINT OF SALE (OWERRI ONLY)

On obtaining the scratch card, go to imsu.edu.ng and follow Registration Instruction.

FINAL STEP

Confirm your entries before clicking on submit.
Ensure that your recent passport photograph is scanned into the form before submitting. After clicking on submit, print the form as evidence of your registration and bring it to the screening venue.

IMSU POST UTME DEADLINE

Registration portal will shut down at 12.00 midnight on Friday 1st August, 2014.
Candidates are required to come with the following items for the screening exercise, 2014/2015 original UTME result slip showing candidates photograph.
HB Pencil, eraser and a ball point pen.
FOR CBT CANDIDATES NOTE:

  • Impersonation is a serious offence and anyone caught impersonating will be handed over to the law enforcement agents.
  • Any candidate who fails to take part in the screening, exercise automatically looses his or her chance of being considered for admission.
  • GSM handsets, calculators, or any other extraneous material MUST NOT be brought into the screening venue such materials if confiscated will not be returned.
  • Early commencement of registration is advised to avoid web congestion in the dying hours.
  • Ensure that all information required is properly uploaded in the University website to forestall any challenges the candidate may encounter at the screening venue.
