This is to inform all interested and qualified candidates that the 2015 Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into the following NBTE accredited ND Programmes of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku for the 2015/2016 Academic Session has been scheduled as listed below:

1. AVAILABLE ND PROGRAMMES AND THEIR SCREENING DATES

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR PARTICIPATION

(i) Candidates who chose Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku as first or second choice and scored 150 and above in the 2015 UTME.

(ii) Candidates who did not choose Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku but wish to be considered for admission and scored 150 and above in the 2015 UTME.

(iii) Only candidates who sat for the 2015 UTME are eligible to apply.

(iv) At least Five (5) credit passes in SSCE (WAEC and NECO), GCE ‘O’ Level, NABTEB or its equivalent in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language in not more than Two (2) sittings.

3. METHOD OF APPLICATION:

(i) Log on to www.portal.dspgportal.edu.ng then click on ND Application Form, fill in the requested information and submit to obtain your Application ID.

(ii) Pay a non-refundable application fee of Five thousand naira (N5,000.00) only made online with Verve or Master ATM Card or by cash at Union Bank, Ogwashi-Uku and conclude the online Registration.

4. REQUIREMENT FOR SCREENING EXERCISE

(i) Original and one photocopy of Acknowledgment Card.
(ii) Original of Purchase Receipt of Post-UTME Application Form.
(iii) Original of UTME Score Slip. ( you are advised to get the one that bears your photograph, if you don’t have this, click here to get yours.)
(Iv) Four Figure Table where applicable (GSM & Calculator are not allowed).
(v) HB Pencil and Eraser.
(vi) Mode of Dressing shall be Corporate.

5. FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL ND CANDIDATES

All successful candidates at the 2015 Post-UTME Screening Exercise shall be required to submit the following documents to the Admissions Officer:
(i) Five (5) recent Passport Photographs.
(ii) Photocopy of UTME Score Slip.
(iii) Photocopy of Purchase Receipt of Post-UTME Application Form.
(iv) Two (2) copies of correctly completed Online Application Form.
(v) Photocopy of Receipt of Acceptance of Admission.
(vi) Photocopy of Examination Results listed on the Application Form.
(vii) Photocopy of Certificate of Local Government Area of Origin.
(viii) Photocopy of Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.

6. CLOSING DATE
Application closes on THURSDAY, 17th September, 2015.

What is the safest time to purchase the post utme form?
Answer: The safest/best time to purchase it, is a day after which the form is out. Avoid waiting, till the very last minute before purchasing the form. Every year, many a candidate had fallen victim of not being unable to purchase the form at die minute, not that they do not have the money, but because they waited till the very last moment, forgotten that bank close their services at about 4:00pm.
Furthermore, network during that time is usually slow or  inaccessible due to too much internet traffic and just to generate a form might take up to hours. so count yourself  lucky knowing this rare information at hand and please tell other you know. I will advise you to start preparing now “I do not have time/chance, will make you spend more days trying to buy the form at the die minute”

Delta Slate Polytechnic, Otefe – Oghara has scheduled Tuesday 15th, Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th August, 2015 for the screening of Candidates who wrote the 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UMTE) for the 2015/2016 academic session.

(1) Candidates Eligible for Screening

(i) All Candidates who chose Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe Oghara as their first or second choice and scored 150 and above in the 2015 UTME,
(ii) Candidates who chose other Polytechnics but wish to change to Delta State Polytechnic Otefe – Oghara and scored a minimum of 150 having changed it through JAMB,

(2) Documents Required for the Screening

Candidates for the screening are required to come with the original copies of the following: 

i JAMB and Internet Result Slip ( you are advised to get the one that bears your photograph, if you don’t have this, click here to get yours.)
ii O/Level Results
iii Certificate of Local Government of Origin
iv. Two recent Passport Photographs
v. The Screening Form (Photocopy)
vi Writing Material

(3) Collection of Screening Forms

Screening forms are available for collection at Admissions Office, Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara on the presentation of Bursary receipt of N5,000.00 processing fee,

(4) Screening Exercise

Screening shall take place in all the Departments on the scheduled dates, 15th,16th and 17th September, 2015.

(iii) Candidates must have at least a Pass in Physics for Computer Science,
